Behind The Cooper Method

I’m Yasemin Cooper, founder of The Cooper Method, mum of three, certified Pilates instructor, nationally recognised Nutritionist, Sports Nutrition Coach and Health and Wellbeing Coach.

The Cooper Method Goal

To help women create their own transformation from the inside out and step into their prime years feeling strong, healthy, confident and excited about what’s ahead.

A fresh approach to midlife

Health and movement have been part of my life for more than 25 years, but The Cooper Method was born from something much more personal, my own experience of moving through my 40s and realising that feeling your best is about so much more than how your body looks.

For me, the biggest shift came when I stopped focusing on one piece of the puzzle and started looking at the whole picture, how I moved, how I nourished myself and how I looked after my mind.

I don’t believe women should reach their 40s and 50s and start dreading what comes next. I want women to feel excited about their future and empowered to enjoy what can be some of the strongest, healthiest and most fulfilling years of their lives.

This belief is why I created The Cooper Method.

The Three Pillars

Movement, nutrition and mindset became the three pillars that transformed my own life. They helped me feel stronger physically, more grounded mentally and more confident in myself, and that changed far more than what I saw in the mirror. It changed the way I looked at getting older.

Movement

Feeling strong, capable and comfortable in your body supports physical health, energy and confidence, while creating space to move in a way that feels good and sustainable.

Nutrition

Nourishing your body with the food it needs can help you feel energised, supported and well. A balanced approach can build better habits and a healthier relationship with what you eat.

Mindset

Supporting your mental and emotional wellbeing alongside your physical health is an important part of feeling well. Creating time for yourself, positive habits and balance can have a lasting impact on how you feel each day.

The Cooper Method brings together my professional education with my own lived experience as a woman and mother navigating midlife myself.

I wanted to bring the three things that made such a difference to my own life, Movement, Nutrition and Mindset, together in one place and make them realistic for women with full lives.

So much of my own strength, confidence and consistency has been built through at-home workouts, simple daily habits and learning how to nourish my body in a way that feels realistic and sustainable. That is what I wanted to create for other women, a method that brings together Pilates x Strength movement, nutritionist-created guidance, mindset tools and simple daily habits to help you feel stronger, healthier, more energised and more connected to yourself, all from the comfort of your home.
